My favorite photo to show others is that emerald green..although id get it on a continental GT

I like this slate blue...but probably wouldn't pick it overall. Perhaps a more seafoam metallic like that emerald green hue

I've basically decided on Amethyst Black (the McLaren color) but Porsche Exclusive is being silly. I don't know if you know how PTS works but essentially they release a list of all the colors currently approved for each model. In addition, they have a limited window that you can order a PTS color for each model. So, if the color that you select is not currently on the list, then Porsche has to test the color with its paint manufacturer to insure that it will hold up over time (their words, not mine). Therefore, keeping in mind that they have, at least on the 991 so far, rejected some of their own factory colors like Signal Green, I'm not optimistic that they would go for another manufacturer's color. So, at this point, I'll probably wait a year or so for the frenzy to die down and see if they will be more accommodating when demand isn't sky high.

Another thought, since you're not committed yet: since Porsche is already offering a purple as one of the standard offerings, have you given any consideration to blue?

This is Reflex Blue (also on a P1 -ha!).

I hope so as well. Patience is definitely a virtue. It's not too bad though as the hunt for a 430 Scuderia is keeping me preoccupied.

I have indeed. In fact, dark metallic blues are one of my favorite colors. I considered Midnight Blue Metallic (like my GT) and Blu Notte but ultimately decided that I've always wanted a beautiful, deep purple. I also considered Damson.

Gorgeous color. It looks very similar to a acquantance's car but his is satin. In fact, the specific name is "Satin Cerulean Blue."
